Founders Message
Welcome Message
We are so honored and pleased that you are taking some of your valuable time in visiting the Abba Children’s Ranch website. The building of Abba Ranch was envisioned and dreamed of many years ago by my daughter Rachel Williams, the President of Abba Children Ranch. As a house full of “Dreamers”, we have always loved to dream about far off places around the world that we wanted to travel to. I have always encouraged my kids to follow their dreams and make them into a reality. Well, Rachel came home one day about eight years ago now and sat my wife, Linda, and I down and told us, about a dream that she had about having an adoptive child and a few months later the dream grew and now, it is a whole ranch for children in crisis. We have always been a family, that supported the dreams of our children, so guess what? Abba Children’s Ranch is becoming a reality, because Rachel dreamed it, and God is for it !!
As a father it is so refreshing in my life to have a daughter like Rachel, who has always honored God, in all areas of her life. God has so richly blessed our family to have the opportunity to “Stop for the One” and give to that person whether they be a billionaire or a homeless person on the street. To give them a smile, word of encouragement are a sandwich. We love that feeling of making a difference in the lives of others.
The building and development of Abba Childrens Ranch, is such a great joy, as we have the opportunity to provide a “Place Called Home” once built will serve over fifty children that face unthinkable hardships in their lives full of abuse, abandonment and neglect. We are taking some incredible steps, as an organization to become a Child Placement Agency (CPA) in the State of Colorado. The CPA license will allow us legally be able to work with and place children from all across the state that will find “Hope and Home”, while staying at Abba Children’s Ranch. We know that we can’t keep them for ever, as our goal is to see them reunited with their parents and or relatives for those that can return home. For those that cannot return home we hope to offer adoption. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and empowering environment for each of the children so they have the opportunity to help reconstruct their lives, while in care at a Abba Children’s Ranch.
Will you come help us with your Time, Talents, and Treasure, in supporting the work that we do?
Blessings,
Terry Williams
